Adapters and Fitting Nozzles

Instantaneous aluminum couplings

Instantaneous Fire Hose Couplings are commonly used by fire brigades for the delivery of water to fire fighting systems, but are often used as an industrial water hose coupling. The female incorporates 2 spring loaded catches, which release the adaptor when disengaged. When connected the system must be pressurized to produce a leak free connection. Maximum working pressure for this series of couplings is 15 Bar. Fire Protection Services supply all types of Fire Hose, Couplings, manufactured in both aluminum and gunmetal. The range includes instantaneous couplings, nozzles, branch pipes, standpipes and adaptors The couplings are manufactured to a standard size and comply to the BS 336 standard. The branch pipes and nozzles are also designed to BS 336 and have an inlet port size of 2" male for connecting to hose couplings. They can be connected to either a straight jet nozzle or a diffuser nozzle. Nozzle materials are normally aluminum but gunmetal is also available.

Nozzle

This flexible fire hose nozzle produces a strong, concentrated jet of water with a range of 14 m.

Made of high-quality aluminium, the two-inch (65 mm) BS Coupling can withstand 2 bar operating pressure.

Thanks to the 180° swivel switch, this fire hose nozzle is quickly and easily adjustable from a jet to a diffused spray, or a complete shut off.

Standpipe 600mm Extension Piece

Fire hydrant standpipes and extensions are available from Fire Protection Services in a number of different types. They screw onto the male urban round thread (URT) of the underground fire hydrant and can be supplied with female instantaneous or BSP outlets.

Controlled Dividing Breeching

Dividers are used for distributing the extinguishing medium from one feed line over several hose lines, or in special cases for collecting it in the reverse direction. Each hose line can be shut-off individually by means of a stop valve. The stop valve of the dividers must be according to DIN 14365 easily operated in the usual flow direction at 16 bar and in the opposite direction at 6 bar.

Reducer

These adaptors are offered in varied sizes to provide perfect fitting to the pipes. This reducer adaptor is made up using aluminum and other material in compliance with industry norms. The reducer comes with equal port to ensure durability. Sizes come in 19mm and 25mm.
